There is a Protestant amateur archeologist who seems to have found the original Ark. This archeologist is now deceased. I spent many hours one day viewing all of his recorded video of his many-year archeological excavation in Israel. His finding does not conflict with what you say of Queen Mary because the archeologist claims to have been instructed by an Angel guarding the spot to not remove certain things because the time for the discovery of the Ark and other contents of the cave is not yet to be revealed. On the other hand, he was permitted to have the bloodied soil tested that fell upon the Mercy Seat that he said Israeli scientists said was alive and who wanted to know whose Blood this is. He responded that "it is the Blood of your Savior." One man ran off in utter fear because he entered the cave of the Ark first and apparently didn't find a pleasant reception by the Angel. I personally didn't understand why the Angel didn't permit the announcement of his discovery until I heard your teaching in this video. At this writing I don't recall the name of this amateur archeologist; however, I have a strong sense that he really did find the cave in spite of the beating remarks of professional archaeologists. When the finding is announced, it would lead many Jews to believe in the Blessed Sacrament. I have read your book, Dr. Pitre, on the Jewish roots of the Eucharist and enjoyed sharing key points from it with a small study group in my parish.

That's a lot of theological acrobatics. Maybe. The mystery of Mary clearly indicates a devine special graceful presence that very much deserves high respect and love as she was the earthly mother of our lord. I thought I loved God by devoutly praying the Rosary daily and going to mass daily. I thought I had a personal relationship with Him. For 34 years I thought He was really here with me. I was wrong. He was not. But that was my fault. I used Him for 34 years. And I had an awakening. One day, among many other times. When my wife and I were having a shouting match to the point it got hysterical. I suddenly stopped and realized, something within me when my wife said to me, " Where is all this anger coming from." I realized that I had suppressed emotions as a maladaptive type of coping mechanism I still used as an adult which i used as a child due to my unmet needs at that time. I had projected all my unconscious actions to my wife in a very dangerous way to the point of almost separation. Here, I learned about Spirutual-bypassing and childhood trauma. Now, after 34 years of "religiousity", I question myself, " Did I really love God?" And Is He significant ? My question is, where is the division line between the, self reliance you are talking about and self compassion I have learned from Compassion Inquiry therapy? Finally, I integrate CI of Dr. Mate with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy or ACT. ACT, lets go of negative circumstances and thus lets go of any control . Shouldn't we at least have the control of choice to make use of these modalities to sooth ourselves. I feel a part of myself that is protecting the hurt I felt by the spiritual bypass I did to myself. I feel I could repeat this to myself. Its not God whi did this to me. Its me. My value is to be able to seek my authentic self and seek my personal relationship with God I think I've reached a " Dark Night of the Soul?"
